Hoists

HOISTS

A suspended machinery unit that is used for lifting or lowering a freely suspended load. May be manually operated or electrically or pneumatically driven and may use chain or wire rope as its lifting medium.

Type of Hoists:

  • Chain Hoist can be manually operated (hand or lever), pneumatically driven, or electrically driven.
  • Chain Electric Hoist: unit that is powered by electrically driven motors.
  • Air Hoist Unit that is powered by pneumatically driven motors and is used to lift or lower a freely suspended (unguided) load. Generally, uses chain or wire rope as its lifting medium.
  • Manual Hoist Use of manual operation, is used for lifting and lowering of a freely suspended load. Generally, uses chain (roller or link) as its lifting medium.
  • Lever Hoist A lever operated manual device used to lift. lower, or pull a load and to apply or release tension. Utilizes a ratchet and pawl mechanical configuration to incrementally raise or lower a load or to apply or release tension.
  • Wire Rope Hoist A hoist that utilizes wire rope as the lifting medium. Often powered Electrically or pneumatically. This lifting device is made up of a rope storage drum, motor(s), gear box and braking system and is suspended from a monorail or bridge beam(s) by means of a trolley. May also be mounted in a stationary manner. Manual wire rope hoist are generally referred to as “pullers” and operate utilizing a ratchet and pawl tensioning technology

The W Series:

Is characterized by its small size that allows the customer to make the most of the available height.
The capacity ranges can vary from 125 to 1000 kg with a single pull of chain.

The WR Series:

Has been designed and built to lift loads from 1000 up to 5000 kg in heavy work environments, where great strength, and above all great reliability must be proven in order to maintain the highest performance for as long as possible.

These characteristics are demonstrated by the structure of the hoist entirely made of aluminum alloy and with the total absence of plastic material

The lift motor
The hoist is built according to FEM 2m class. Hoists can be supplied for any voltage upon request. Degree of protection
is IP54. The machine must work in a covered environment free of vapors; for different environments or outdoor service
please ask to the company. The 3000/4000/5000 hoists can be equipped with an engine cooling fan which, together with
the finned structure of the motor housing, allows an excellent heat dissipation

The load limiter clutch
The WR series features electric limit switches that limit the maximum stroke upward and downward. There is also a safety
device that acts as a limiter for overloads.
This is considered as an emergency stop and therefore it should NOT be used regularly.

The reducer
The reducer is composed of helical toothed gears, this allows a progressive distribution of the forces on the tooth, at the
same time a reduced operating noise. These components have undergone heat treatments to ensure high mechanical and wear resistance. With the recommended lubricants, the hoist is able to operate in environments with temperatures
between -20 ° C and + 50 ° C.

EXE Rise:

Fixed speed EXE Rise chain hoists have been specifically designed to satisfy the demanding needs and requests of the entertainment and touring market.

EXE Vario:

Suitable for body-up and body-down (self-climbing or standard suspension), without the need for any adjustments modifications. The EXE Vario is based around the existing large frame EXE Rise and has been converted for use with the popular Kinesys Elevation 1+ controller. Development was carried out in close collaboration with the team at Kinesys Projects Ltd.

EXE Vario Variable Speed Chain Hoist / Large Frame – Single Fall:
